You may be wondering why I am offering you some free meditations on this website so that I can start introducing myself to you. The biggest reason is that most of my clients over the years have had issues managing stress, and meditation can help you manage stress.
Stress is a natural part of life, and we need some stress to be motivated to achieve anything or even to get out of bed in the morning!
Prolonged stress, however, is very destructive to both our mental and physical health.
That’s why one of the first things I do with new clients is to help them manage stress through meditation.
One of my biggest motivations has been helping others achieve their dreams. To move forward in the direction we desire, we need to be relaxed yet focused.
Speaking of driving and helping others, would you believe that one of the first steps of the journey that led me to this point in my life was driving tourist coaches to take people to their destinations all around Australia?
I was attracted to the role for many reasons:
- I have a strong sense of adventure.
- The income from this role funded my naturopathy studies.
- Between trips, I had time to learn and study.
Along with those was the satisfaction of providing my clients with the means to achieve and enjoy what they wanted, which in this case was to travel to various Australian destinations and be guided on the path.
It also allowed me to continue to widen my horizons by visiting different places and working with various people.
Once I was qualified in naturopathy and started working with clients, I added relaxation and therapeutic massage to my repertoire and progressed to hands-on healing. I began to appreciate the value and impact of the spiritual element on health and well-being.
Then disaster struck! I was faced with a massive life crisis when Charlie, my dear husband of three decades, unexpectedly died due to a freak accident.
I discovered there is no shortcut through the grieving process. However, I found comfort in my spiritual practice.
As I emerged from that period of profound grief, I started working both with individuals and small groups, face to face, to help them overcome their life challenges, frustrations and stress to move towards living the life they really wanted to live.
Those experiences, along with the guidance of various coaches and spiritual resources, formed the foundation of my work.
My Strong Mind Formula services have evolved over decades of living and learning, guided by spiritual practice.
